Hands On Massage Therapy

Massage Therapy is the assessment and manipulation of the soft tissues of the body (muscles, tendons, ligaments) in order to facilitate the body’s natural healing process. Swedish massage techniques and other advanced techniques are used to treat the following (and more) types of soft tissue conditions:

Muscle tension and Stress
Tension and Migraine Headaches
Sports Injuries
Work / Repetitive Motion Injuries
Neck and Back pain / Injuries
Auto Injuries / Whiplash
Carpal Tunnel Syndrome
Fibromyalgia
On their first visit, clients can expect to spend a few minutes discussing their concerns with their therapist. Depending on the extent of the client’s injuries, the therapist may perform a series of tests on them. The therapist will then allow the client time to get undressed and get set up on the massage table, under the privacy of a sheet and/or a blanket. The rest of the session is devoted to the actual massage itself. Massage sessions may last a half hour, one hour or one-and-a-half hours in duration. A client may also be instructed to perform stretches or exercises at home to help maintain the progress made during the massage treatments.

Massage Therapy Treatment

A wonderfully soothing massage in which heated smooth lava rocks are strategically placed on, and used to massage the body in combination with relaxing Swedish Massage. Heat from the stones acts as a catalyst in loosening muscles and joints, then specific work to the injured or sore muscles is done to reduce muscle tension or pain. Nature’s elements of earth, water and fire are combined to ground you in a deep dimension of relaxation.

Hot Stone Massage

A revolutionary and unique Eco-Friendly full body massage for women and men. Lava Shell Massage uses naturally self warming Tiger Clam Shells to deliver a seamless treatment, tailored to suit your individual needs. The shells come from villages in the Philippines where they are a part of every day diet and were regarded as waste.

The warm smooth shells are expertly glided over the body with varying pressures, techniques and precision. This enables the therapist to reach the deepest aches and pains, alleviating all stress and tension. Hydrating oils are used during the treatment to moisturize the skin as the warming energy of the shells helps to revitalize and rebalance the body and mind. You will feel relaxed and pampered from head to toe!

Lava Shell Massage;

Bamboo Fusion Therapy is a massage therapy treatment in which during the massage several different heated bamboo sticks are used to apply massage techniques. This treatment can be very relaxing and soothing, or it can be very deep and therapeutic. The use of the heated Bamboo sticks helps to warm up the tissues and muscles much quicker and allows for a much deeper treatment.
